Working directly with great athletes is an opportunity to translate something intangible, their energy, character and relentless pursuit of excellence, into something they can wear. In collaborating with Grant Holloway, that energy was impossible to miss. We wanted his signature singlet to feel like an extension of the athlete himself: confident, playful, fiercely competitive and deeply connected to where he came from.

The design brings together the things that make Grant who he is. A gold graphic references his warm-up ritual and his love of Dragon Ball Z, channeling the idea of going “Super Saiyan” like Goku. His signature rose, #Wonderboy and the 757 area code anchor the design in his identity, personality and Virginia roots.

The result is more than a performance piece. It’s a portrait of an athlete, his ambition, his spirit and the story behind everything he’s accomplished.
